Jeb Dunnuck 91pt

Classic Napa Chardonnay done with class and style, the 2024 Chardonnay shows ripe orchard fruits, honeyed flowers, spice, and hints of brioche. Based on 100% Chardonnay from the Hudson and Kaiser vineyards and aged 12 months in 25% new oak, it's pure, medium-bodied, and has a layered, opulent mouthfeel with outstanding length. I love it and would gladly drink bottles over the coming 2-4 years or so.

James Suckling 94pt

A rich, generous wine with aromas of salted caramel, nuts, baking spices and citrus blossoms. The palate is full-bodied with a textural, rounded mouthfeel and bright acidity. Undeniably old school, with all that charm, sourced from the well-known Sangiacomo and Hudson vineyards. Drink or hold.

Wine Advocate 90pt

AXR's 2024 Chardonnay is all whole-cluster-pressed and barrel-fermented, with up to 30% going into new French oak. On the nose, there's an attractive hint of struck match, plus more standard pineapple and melon notes, while in the mouth, the wine is medium- to full-bodied, plump, rounded and welcoming, then finishes crisp and refreshing.

Wine Spectator 91pt

Toasted, buttery brioche notes, plus details of gingersnap, cardamom and nutmeg, set the stage for smooth, juicy notes of peach preserves, lemon curd and candied ginger. A lemon meringue pie element lingers.
