This is very open and satisfying with ripe cherries, rose hips and mild spices. Hint of cocoa, too. Medium-bodied with compact but quite supple tannins. Smooth, well integrated and already attractive to drink. Drink or hold.

Clear ruby/magenta in color, the 2020 Barolo Rocche Dell'Annunziata is sunny with aromas of candied cherries, violets, and a hint of blue fruit coming through along with pine and sappy earth. Approachable up front, it's rounded and ripe on the palate, with medium to full-bodied frame, ripe, plush tannins, and a very nicely tapered finish revealing good quality notes of tea leaf. This is another very well-done wine to drink over the next 10 years.
