M by Fonbadet is a cuvée created by the Fonbadet team. Inspired by the philosophy and expertise of Château Fonbadet, it offers a modern expression of Médoc, combining typicity, structure and accessibility.
Terroir
The soil is clay-limestone. Average age of the vines is 15 years.
Vinification
Fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats, with regular pump-overs to ensure gentle extraction of color, fruit and tannins, followed by maceration to develop structure and complexity.
Tasting Notes
Beautiful ruby-red colour. The nose reveals intense aromas of blackcurrant and black cherry, complemented by a delicate hint of spice. Rich and well-balanced on the palate, the wine shows a fine structure with supple, velvety tannins. It is a modern expression of Médoc, combining the distinctive character of the appellation with remarkable approachability and excellent value.
