Aromas of white pepper, berries and touches of sweet spices, minerals and salt. Juicy and tense, with fresh, reactive tannins that are crunchy and tasty. Linear, with a medium body and a medium-long finish. 80% of the wine was aged in used oak barrels and 20% in stainless steel tanks. Drink now or hold.

Aging

80% of the wine is matured in French oak barrels, for ten months before bottling.

Nose

Very fruity, with notes of red cherry, blackberry and blackcurrant mingled with soft spicy aromas of rosemary, sage and aniseed, interlaced with hints of caramel imparted by barrel aging.

Palate

Starts out very lively and rich on the palate with generous red fruit flavors. The mid-palate is unctuous with good volume balanced out by fine acidity. Raspberry and blackcurrant aromas on the long-lasting finish.
